It Started With Saying Hello

You know that feeling…the one that you’re being watched? I mean, it’s quite stupid, but it’s so strong that you can’t help but look over your shoulder to check if someone is really there.

That’s what was going on with me.

I just couldn’t sit down and write the next segment to ‘Where Value Lies.’

I was alone in the house, as always, trying to wheedle adjectives out of my uncooperative brain.

Yep, that’s me. Actress and playwright, all in one. I know, I’m magnificent, aren’t I? Besides, my manager would kill me if I didn’t get it done…

But, anyway, I do have a manager, and sometimes he can be the most annoying thing walking on the face of this planet. Despite that…heh, he was quite cute.

Getting back on track here!

I was alone – yes, that’s where I was.

I could feel a glare boring into my back. How do I know it was a glare? I just…knew.

So, like any normal human being, I turned to rid myself of the paranoia.

There was one tiny obstacle in my way, though.

“Hello, Patricia.”
