I Just Wanna Talk
Robert dared to sneak into school. He found me in the hallway after the class I didn’t have with Spencer. “Hi, there.â? Robert said.
I sped up my walk down the hall but he pulled me into an empty classroom.
“Aren’t you gonna say hi?â? he snarled.
“Hi.” I whispered, inching toward the door.
“Wow, you seem pretty afraid. Its kind of fun watching you freak out at any moment.â? He jumped at me and I flinched. “Ha, ha!â?
“Gotta … get to class.â? I whispered, opening the door but he closed it.
“Oh no, no, no. I’ve followed you around, I’ve scared you enough for now; I’ve got you alone. Must enjoy my time. So how’s life?â?
I looked at the floor, not speaking. I could hear him moving around but I didn’t want to look.
“Gracie don’t wanna answer?â? he taunted, poking my shoulder.
“Class.â? I gasped but this time he locked the door.
“Damn, you’re so difficult. I just wanna talk, Grace.â? He cooed. “I just wanna talk.â? His hands slid up over my shoulders and I shivered. “No where to run though.”
