So here I sat now all gruff and unfeeling as Riley’s eyes sparkled with new love. I rolled my eyes in annoyance and slight…ok intense jealously towards Alec. I turned to focus on our group and the assignment we have, Macey soon asking, “What are we suppose to do? Ryan over here doesn’t understand anything.” She rolls her eyes while saying the last statement, then starting to kick Ryan in the shin. Being a little hypocritical towards Ryan there? I cruelly thought.

But it was nice to distract myself from Riley with English work, however pointless it may be.

I was all good until Riley kicked my foot…hard. “What do you want women?!” I snapped at her, taking her aback from a second. But she composed herself, “You are a jerk for not wanting to listen to me.” She then stuck her nose in the air, allowing me to get a good view of her neck. I had to shake my head for a second before answering her, “I’m sorry but I’m not the lovey-dovey type Riley. And even you won’t change that.”
