La Tierra
Ama la tierra en que naciste, ámalas y una nada más. Ama tu hermano, ama tu raza, ámalas y una nada más.
What amazes me is how it seems we have such little pride in the places we come from. At least, we don’t express that pride all that often.
We’re among the lucky. We may boast about it, but that doesn’t always denote pride.
Look at some of our neighbors. Even the impovrished, the lowly, the unlucky; they manage to show that they are proud to be of whatever origin they happen to be.
Love the land in which you were born; love it and nothing more. Love your brother, love your race; love it and nothing else.
