Isabelle Part 2- Mom
Who knows how Isabelle came to be such a mature non-believer. Maybe, some might say, it was her mother who made her the way she was, for her mother was very strict.
Caroline Hiew, Isabelle’s mother, was also a non-believer. She was a very sad looking woman with pale gray eyes and straight dark brown hair that was always pulled up into a twist at the nape of her neck. She was very convincing and wasn’t satisfied easily. Caroline was Editor in Chief at the New York Daily. She had a fine reputation and she was very proud of her accomplishments and overall life. The only thing Caroline wasn’t proud of was her husband.
