A Poem

One moment she was there; the next she wasn’t

Tumbling through the air;

Wet, cold, terrified

But then she looked down and saw the water opening

Welcoming her, snuggling up to her

It enveloped her, made her comfortable

She closed her eyes, no longer scared

People called for her, calling her back up to the dry world

But she didn’t want to come back
