Terror in the Body of a Fish
Inky black-and-blue water swirls in rhythmic currents around where one spot was illuminated. A single ray of sun caressed the imposing body moving fluidly through the water. What form could be so majestic and attracting, yet make the hearts of all who see it fill with cold terror, whether or not you see it in person? Fear spikes through my spine as a glance at the picture, although as I tighten my swim cap over my pinned-up hair I can’t help but smile at the clever logo – I am a shark. And yet I am terrified of them.
Only a shark.
