Mistake #3
Good, he’s still alive.
Then, she notices the bottle uncorked in Jacob’s hand. Jacob slowly regains consciousness. Othello didn’t see the harm in talking to him so she asked:
“Are you okay? Hello? Can you hear me?”
Of course Jacob can hear her. The voice sounded wonderful in his ears. It was like a angel sighing. He tried to gaze at the angel but saw nothing but a really bright light.
“Don’t move,” the angel told him, “You may be hurt.”
Jacob couldn’t feel anything. He only felt the warmth of the angel’s skin against him and her voice caressing his face. Jacob tried to tell this angel that he was okay when he felt a head rush and laid unconscious on the floor once again.
Othello, seeing that he was out of it again, tried to carry him. He was actually light to Othello. She took him outside her home. She went to a nearby riverbank to get water for Jacob.
