The Blob II (Part 2)
The priest had stood up on a cliff, looking down into a rugged area of sharply shaped boulders. There he had left the jar.
The heat was beginning to rise inside the container. Cracks had started to trickle its way up to the top.
The jar shattered; leaving the purple-pinkish creature out in the open.
There it had sat up on the rock; no motion, no sense of life in the bacteria.
The sun began its journey behind the mountains in the far north; the creature screeched a howling sound threw the dawn of the day.
It slithered down past the boulders; slithering its self threw the nightly desert.
Eating whatever walked its path.
Increasing its size, as it ate threw the night.
A twittering light came from a small light post, off the corner of the street. There had lain a small gas station.
Forming a small surrounding of cars; as they filled there vehicles, and made there way north to the only town for another 100 miles.
