I love the whole thing. It’s rather philosophical and can be interpreted so many different ways. The story of one’s life…the journey we all eventually must make. I love your use of metaphor. I also like how you ended with the suspense of something imminent. However…have you any more of this story? Who is that in the distance? You could go in any direction with that…so which will it be?

Well, your story has lead me to this site. It is such a wonderous tale. I can only wait to see who it is in the distance. I was in a, shall we say, disparaging mood, when I stumbled upon the first part of your story. I commented there then noticed the sequels. And to reiterate myself, wow. A truly amazing “Peace” of art.
