No Plans

“Hey, Kayley! Wait up!”

I turned around and saw Mitchell jogging towards me, his books spilling from his arms, his hair a sticking up mess. I groaned inwardly.

“Hi, Mitchell.”

He grinned at me. “What’s up?”

Oh, let’s see. I hate me life. That sufficient?

“Nothing much. How about you? Anything new going on?” I didn’t really care, but anything to get his silly questions done with would be a good thing. I knew what he was really after. What he was always after.

“Aw, nothing ever happens in my life.” He shook his head. “Nope. Nothing.” Then he smiled. “Remember when we took that-”

“Yah. I do.”

Unfortunately.

“So…” He ran his fingers through his hair.

“What do you want Mitchell?” I was through being the nice girl.

“Hey, hey don’t jump at me.”

I just looked at him.

“Um, okay.” He looked uncomfortable. “I was just wondering of you were planning to-”

“No. I don’t plan to.”

“Oh.” He didn’t look surprised, but he looked dissapointed.

“Bye, Mitchell.”

“Bye.”
