School sucks, even for aliens.
Memory stood and walked off the bus, stepping off of the final step with an irritated sigh. Her long legs extended out in front of her and she strode semi-gracefully to her class. She popped her knuckles and sat down close to the door. She shook her head, in preparation for learning more things that she already knew.
God, she missd her home back on the small planet her family had owned land on somewhere in the Sombrero Galaxy. She missed the calming lavender sky and the thought-provoking emerald clouds—in terms that humans would understand. Truly, the beauty of the planet exceeded words… but describing it the best one can, that would be it.
The bell rang and she ran out of the room, ready to talk for five minutes, even if no one understood her. She needed an excuse to move her vocal cords.
When her mouth closed, her brain started working. And she was so very tired of thinking.
