Effective and challenging use of the second person for this one. Reminds me of the funeral I went to when I was 8 or 9, definitely hard to grasp. And the last line is actually quite a common reaction for kids to get to death, though it’s usually more a reflection of their fuzzy understanding of what death is and not genuine suicidality.
