Just End My Pain, Please.
The next day at school, I grabbed Anabell by her hair. “Come with me, please?” I whispered. I grabbed my vocabulary book, just in case. We wandered up to the second floor again. James was by his locker. I began to sweat bullets. “Calm down Lace. You’ll be fine.” She knew what I wanted to do. I took a deep breath, and opened the door. I walked up behind him, standing for a while. He never turned around. I began to hyperventilate. Anabelle grabbed me, and pulled me back into the stairwell. “Breathe, Lacey. Breathe, c’mon, your face is bright red!” Her voice began to fade away. I looked up, and saw James standing behind her. I wasn’t sure, but it looked like he was..happy to see how choked up I was. He shook his head, and turned back around. I began to cry, the pain becoming too much too handle. I felt so bad for Anabelle, trying to ease my sobs to the point of whimpers to get me back to homeroom. This was just never going to end, was it?
