50 Doors

I realized that if I was going to be stuck in some sort of magical alternate reality, it might be a good thing to retrace my steps back to sources of water and food. Of course, I was assuming at the time based upon my limited experiences that going back through a door that I had already been through would get me back to the same place that I had gone the first time. Therefore, I placed a post-it note on each of the doors that I had already been through.

By this time, not having a watch, I had lost all track of time. I wasn’t sure how long I had been gone. I did not know whether it was morning, noon, or night. I slept, ate, and drank when my body demanded that I do so with none of those bodily functions tied to a watch or calendar.

After posting the post-its and snacking, I was ready to tackle another door. I once again chose one that was away from the first two hoping that by randomly choosing doorways, I might luck upon the one that would lead the way home.
