Just curious…How is Eros and Psyche any more a fairy tale than the other Greek myths? There really isn’t any specific criteria for a fairy tale, so why not include all of the Greek myths, or even the Egyptian and Mesopotamian myths as well?

Well, it has a happy ending, I guess, as opposed to murder and drowning and damnation – I don’t know. I read it on the back of a shampoo bottle that it’s “the first real fairy tale.”
