Green World

Matt was never sure why he like to walk in the wooded area near his parents’ house.

Sometimes he would find himself drawn there, as if there was something important he needed to do, surrounded by the oaks and maples.

Sometimes when he was away from home Matt found that he missed the trees and leaves; missed the quiet whispering of the undergrowth and the chattering of squirrels at his intrusion.

He would missed the silence of the green world the most.
