The group headed behind the big exercise gym for privacy. “Now, what were you saying, Ben?â€? Pete asked him.

“I said, he’s the only person stronger than her.â€?

“No fucking way.â€? Spencer said under his breath.

“It’s true. Didn’t you guys hear the rumors?! They’re staying in the same room for a reason, you know.â€? Ben continued while turning to look at Holly, “She can’t kill him but apparently, his powers work just fine on her.â€?

Craig was cursing under his breath and Pete was shaking his head.

“This doesn’t make any sense.â€? Trey finally said. “How would you know if I did this or not?! You can’t just say I did.â€?

“Holly?â€? Ben asked her silently. The other guys turned their back for a second to give them some privacy. “Did Trey … â€?

“I can’t … I can’t talk about it.â€? Holly whispered. “If I tell you one thing, I have to tell you everything.”
