So sad, I cried. I found an outlet for my stories were I was accepted like no other community.

Agreed. I also left poems on this site about my uncle dying. And I have to agree with that fact about the headline being red. It’s like….dun dun dun. And AOL is simply saying, “Well sucks for you!!”

I’m with you. At one point I sort of shut down my writing, but now I’ve decided to see what kinds of awesomeness I can create in the short time left, including hopefully finishing my series. So here’s to a bit more awesome writing!

As one site falls, another will crop up to take its place… we need only keep in touch so that when something does come up to replace ficlets, we can all be together again!!

I definitely agree with you. Ficlets is a lifeline. It’s an outlet. I can say things on here that I can’t say anywhere else. I can express myself in a non-destructive way. Everyone on here cares.
