My writing may not touch, but that doesn’t mean I’ll stop.

I’ll continue watching, continue observing, absorbing things that will help me convey feelings, emotions and actions through written words.

I will keep my characters close.

I will always talk to my computer like an idiot.

I will always laugh at awkward situations in ficlets.

I will always quote characters and make people wonder what the hell I’m talking about.

Writer’s block will always descend upon me, pinning my squirming inspiration down and forcing it to stay there until I decide that I haven’t written for too long.

I will continue collecting details that make my stories realistic: real life, books, photographs – my influences are open to everything and hopefully always will be.

Whether I become a lawyer, get an office job (God forbid!), decide to pursue the rancher in me, there will always be a tiny wedge of an author in my persona.

Maybe I’ll become an author.

Who knows?

But it’ll stay there.
