Residing Dreams (Chapter 249)

I was worried that I might’ve let him down, for he could’ve wished for a real kiss.
But as time went on, all would fall into place, and things would happen as they were meant to be. So I left it at that.
There was another moment of silence, which I decided to break. “So, I think we’d better go back. Everyone’s probably wondering where we are,â€? I said quickly.
Casimir still had a far off expression present on his face, but he got up and the two of us left the theater.
“I really did have a great time today,â€? I commented. “I sure am glad I stayed.â€?
Casimir nodded, still pretty quiet. The two of us still had a lot to learn about dating, or, rather, life in general. I didn’t know what else could be said.
Then, we decided to take a detour and go for a walk on a path which stretched around the house. He and I looked at the landscaping and scenery; absorbing the tranquility of the late summer evening.
