Rainbows
One month earlier
“Stop sucking face!â? It was Robert, screaming at me and my boyfriend, Bo. It was lunchtime and we might have been … having fun. Robert’s just jealous though. His girlfriend dumped him.
Bo laughed at his friend, letting his hands rest wrapped around my waist. Thankfully, not in an inappropriate way – like, oh, a couple minutes ago. “Calm down, bro. We aren’t that bad.â? Bo stated with another laugh.
Robert scoffed, “Oh please! Its lunch which means I’d like to enjoy my food without having to watch you two get it on.â?
“Get it on?â? I giggled. “Who says that anymore?â?
“I do!â? Robert yelled at me. “Get it on or better yet, get a room.â?
Bo grabbed my hand and said, “He’s on the meds, Kel. Don’t mind him.â? I nodded but nothing in that sentence mattered except for “Kel.â? Hearing him call me “Kelâ? is like … a rainbow after a storm.
Okay, bad example but whatever.
