Everywhere

“Everywhere” he replied, hushed yet loud.

I looked at him, confusion written on my face. I had thought him dead yet the first thing he had spoken to me in seventeen years was ‘You threw the ball to high.’

In my own way I was furious. How could her just disapear like that? Yet all in all I was glad to see him back, even if I still had no clue as to what happned.

We stood their, neither of us saying a word. Gazing at eachother, as if we were rating one another’s fetures after so long a time, how we had changed, and how nothing had at all.
