Spider-napping

His long white fingers quietly pushed aside heaps of thick rose bush as he peered into the grave yard. The giant arachnid “Stried” seemed to glide over the fog engulfed head stones. Still crouched, he moved his legs long legs through the thorny bush into the graveyard. He was careful to stay hidden by rolling from one grave to another. Stried let out a dull roar as she carelessly pushed over a rectangular headstone, creating a wave in the fog. Now that the spider had enough room, it folded up its legs and lowered its heavy body down to the ground.

“Bon appetit, my children,” Grumbled Stried.

He now revealed himself to Stried’s 8 eyes, which made the giant hairy body shake in fury.

“Damn you Alum! DAMN YOU !!!”

Alum wordlessly pulled a glass jar from his coat, twisted off the rusty cap, and walked towards the defenseless beast. 1000’s of tiny quarter sized spiders crawled from under Stried, and began munching on her body.

“Just one,” whispered Alum, brushing a baby from its feast into the jar.
