“Oh hun, im going to be late for work” Diane said to her 4 year old son Luke.

“Mom, I thought we were going to watch my favorite movie with you” Luke whined.

“But son, I have important things to do at work. I’ll come home as soon as I can”

The years gone by same routine, late for work, always leaving her son with her parents since she is a single mother. Her son has a full understanding why his dad left the family, she simply didn’t care till all her loved ones were gone.

Luke is now 15 and now has a great girlfriend and going steady for a year now and spending all his happy days with her and left with his girlfriend to another state and live with her.

Diane came home looking for Luke and she found a ripped crumpled paper and it said “If you could’ve came earlier i would’ve said goodbye”

Luke came back from college 7 years later and told his mom that his girlfriend then Elaina are now getting married in a week.

“Oh Luke, i can’t attend the wedding I have a big meeting that day im sorry”
