It was the most elaborate security system he’d ever encountered. It was actually throwing bolts of electricity down the hall toward him! Whatever secrets these people had, they intended to keep them secret and this lightning device showed how serious they are.
What really pissed off Max was they kept this security device a secret, too! He knew about the perimeter security system, the motion sensors, heat sensors, cameras, floor plates…everything standing in his way and how to defeat them. The building plans didn’t show high power lines in this hallway or the hallway beyond. None of his contacts at the construction company who built this place mentioned anything about high power devices. The building inspector had no knowledge. This was special.
How to defeat it, well, that’s where experience pays off. That and balls the size of grain silos.
