“So, how many kids do your parents have?” Trevor asked as he slowly typed in the codes for the fruit. At this point, Fawn was wishing she hadn’t chosen his aisle. It seemed the Leaders were correct in saying that giving in to the desire of the heart when already warned of the course’s foolishness by the mind was doomed to failure.
“I do not know my Earth Parents. I may be one of many or of few. But my real Father is God.” Fawn could feel herself starting to perspire. She could endure the heat from the sun but not from her nerves.
“You are different, aren’t you?” Trevor asked, completely disregarding the fruit and looking straight into her eyes.
“I’m an Angel on Earth” Fawn replied with wide, innocent eyes. Trevor smirked.
“Confident, are we?”
