Death
Darkness loomed over the city like a blanket over a scared child.
This darkness did not affect Kyo. Kyo stood in the middle of the street, staring up into space. italic_God, are you there? Are you listening? Please, let me be with you. Take me away from here. I have nothing left._italic
Kyo didn’t dare take his head down, he couldn’t bare to look down the narrow emptiness that surrounded him.
“Kyo! Come inside now!” Kyo’s mother shouted from the doorway. Kyo still stared up at the sky. There seemed to be a star, that was shining brighter than all the rest. Kyo imagined it to be one of God’s eyes. He then closed his own eyes as rain began to fall down.
In a matter of minutes Kyo’s clothes were soaked with rain. The rain hid the tears streaming down Kyo’s cheeks. He heard the screams of his mother, and tried to put his head down to see.
But, by the time he did, the car was already upon him.
