With a flourish the makeup disappeared and a new line of products emerged. Now it was my hair’s turn. My messy maple colored locks were the next item of concentration. Melody started brushing and adding different products to my hair, again in silence. She took clips and ties and not once did my eyes stray to the mirror. My hair took longer, half an hour but it was worth it. Adrianna’s hair was perfect. It was.. It was me. Melody took my hand and led me away from the mirror, back out into our room. She began sifting through my clothes and then hers like a child at the beach looking for treasure. She put out a combination of our clothes, just one outfit an laid it on the bed, my cue to put it on, after doing so melody looked my over and said the one word that I will never forget.
