Sweet Memories
I hadn’t seen him in ten years… His name is Edward Elric and he’d been my best friend and loving boy friend. He had finally returned, younger brother, Al, in tow. Both were a haggard mess, with their torn clothes, and worn out faces. Ed, now 30, and Al, 25, seemed to have little life left in them, until I took them in. Winry had moved away, after her grandmother died, so the boys had had no where to go.
It was a refreshing change, to see the elder Elric walking around my home again, though I could tell it would be short-lived…
“Sarah, Al and I can’t stay here any longer.” He says one day, after around four months of living with me.
“But…Ed, I can’t let you go! I thought we had something together! Is this all you can say, after ten long years!?”
I can’t stand the fact that he’ll move on, and leave me behind.
“Sarah, it’s not safe for a pregnant woman to be running around with me.”
“I won’t let you run off on me. Not like this..” I tell him, watching him with my saddened, brown eyes.
