Shoeless Wonder
There is no real reason to be upset, ohh wait, yes there is. It’s midnight and I’m stuck in the mall with no shoes, no shirt, and definitely no service.
“Man, these things never work when you need them to.”
“Ain’t that right?”
I turn to find the janitor shining a flashlight at me. He’s also holding my pants and shoes in his other hand.
“Hey,” I said “do you think I could have my clothes back, and maybe you could let me out of here?”
“I recon I could, but I ain’t got no real reason to let you go. Figure I’ll just play with ya fer a while, than maybe…”
“You’ll let me go?”
“Ohh no, I doubt I’ll be lettin ya go, I mean, whats the fun in that? I’ll prolly just take yer home with me. And seeing as that cellie phone of yers ain’t a werkin’ nobodys gonna know what happened to ya, Samuel Thomas.
Samuel Thomas theres no SLEEPING in my class.”
“What the…”
“Samuel Thom… Ohh, good to see you could join us for class today. Oral presentation, front of the room, NOW ! Where are your shoes?”
