Oblivious
Jade crossed the meridian in front of the pub that led into the the hazy streets and the swift chill of the night air. People lingered on the sidewalks , standing outside well lit entranceways to the night clubs, smoking and laughing. Living. The blur of the neon night life was a daunting aspect if you faced it alone. Jade could only stagger wildly into the street.
Nice, safe street…you’ll save me.
All she could hear was laughing. Laughing…and life. A beautiful moment that nobody would remember tommorow, something oblivious to time.
