He walked slowly back to the apartment, absorbing the lights and sounds that pervaded his existance. He pulled a tattered box of small cigars from his right coat pocket, something he lost in the depths of tweed that had just come to be a blessing. He had to flick his lighter a few times, it was running low on lighter fluid. It reminded him of the difficulties that Adeline continually had when it came to lighting a ciggarette. He told her it was bad hand-eye coordination, she always blamed the lighter. He laughed silently to himself, smoke brimming from where he just took a long drag of the cheap and childish cigar he held in his hand.
