Julie always loved Cherry blossoms. Their tiny blooms speckled with purple. The dark wood of the tree only made it more beautiful.The scent of Cherry blossoms held such a bittersweet memory to her.
Her mother loved Cherry blossoms, and when Julie was a baby she would put some Cherry blossoms around her crib while she slept.
But now her mother was long gone. Her body lying cold in it’s grave, continuing to deteriorate.
That’s why Julie planted a Cherry blossom seed behind her mother’s white marble tombstone. It was her way of telling her mother that their will always be some reminder of her old life.
