Empress of the World
The Sun rose in the sky and the people came out and went about their lives.
Early morning light snuck into the chamber of the Empress who awoke from her slumber. She got out of bed put on her robes and walked on to the balcony. Her Imperial Palace was high above the rest of the city, it crowned the top of a liage hill were the nobles resided.
She looked out to the cityscape it went on as far as the eye could see and listened to the laughter of nobles, the hustle and bustle of carts, the groaning of the slaves.
The she raised her arms high into to the air and shouted to the whole world:
“Common People, I am your Empress and all that you see is mine forever and ever, until the ending of time itself. It is by my righteousness and will that you are allowed to breath the very air itself.”
There was no response, for the people were too far away to hear her speech. The Empress looked about her world’s creation and laughed for all was hers.
“Ouch” she said suddenly as large bee stung her arm.
