Merry-Go-Round part 6
“Can’t you convince your parents to stay a while longer?” pleaded Jake as they sat on the dock, his feet dangling in the water.
“I’ve tried they won’t budge.” said Emma hugging her knees. “Hey lets go to the carnival one last time.” She said standing up. She was wearing the same outfit she wore the day they met.
“Lets go” replied Jake getting up. He watched as Emam walked up to her house to get her bike, her hips swinging to the song “minority”.
They arrived at the carnival, not too many people were there. They played games and went on rides. JAke won a coupon for a free goldfish. An old fashion merry-go-round caught Emma’s eye.
“I’ll be right back.” She said dashing from Jake’s side to the merry-go-round. He grinned as she mounted a black stallion, the band organ started and the merry-go-round began to turn.
