The Clearing

The wind gently brushed Jack’s left ear. He lied there looking up above at the many stars. There was no use calling out for help for he was alone in these dead silent woods. He was located in a small clearing of the forest about thirty feet wide. He once again tried to think back and remember what had happened, and again he felt a sharp pain rush up towards his head. He could not move for his whole body ached. Jack could tell that he was covered in scars and bruises, and that he was bleeding from far too many places, but yet his curiosity seemed way more bothering then his pain. He softly closed his eyes to rest and drifted off into a deep sleep.
