“Climb it” she said
He smiled and looked into her adventurous green eyes. She kept him hanging on.
“I would, just for you, if I could. But I can’t,” he said holding her soft hand.
“Why do you say things like that?” her forehead scrunched.
He didn’t know why.
“Why don’t you believe?” she questioned.
He looked up at the mountain and the glassy lake in front of it, the pillows of cloud hanging peacefully above, and thought.
“I do believe… I believe in us”
