Early-Risers
Andrew raised an eyebrow. “Anyway, like I said, brilliant molding throughout the hotel. Have you seen-”
“No need. It’s just what we’re looking for.” The man interrupted.
“I’m curious, what are you planning to do here?” He asked them.
“My great-grandmother often used to stay here. It was a place she’d uhm… get-away. We never really knew what she did here.”
“Really? So you came to dig up a few skeletons, see if there were any ghosts in her closet?” Andrew joked. The family looked pale, but as they realized it was just a metaphor, they chuckled nervously.
“How soon can we gain ownership of the property?” The father asked. Andrew glanced at his watch.
“Och, the office closes at 6… it’s five forty-five, now. Yikes, if I really push it, I can bring over the paperwork Monday morning, first thing.”
“Goooood. We’re early-risers.” His smile was ominous.
