Confront the Elder I
The obviously neglected shack blended in with the lush green environment that had claimed it as its own. Not a square inch of the dilapidated shack had been spared by the moss or spindly vines.
The 2 heavily clothed men stood in the shadow of the lop-sided door. One talking quickly and quietly to the other.
“Do not ask too many questions, and only ask ones your sure it can ansewer. Only adress it as “The Earth”. Oh, and-”
“I know Ben. We’ve been over this enough!”
“Alright alright, Gordan, but you have to understand that the elders hide from humans for a reason. It won’t stand for discomfort.”
Gordan wrapped his shaking fingers around the door knob intangled with vines and he stepped inside. The sliver of sunlight revieled a cavern of thick moist plants that covered wooden walls. Gordan jumped as a huge blossem of blood red petals, each the size of a shield, folded to form a gaping mouth.
The depth of its voice was felt in Gordans lungs as the plant spoke.
“ SHUT THE DOOR “
