Mist Creature
The mist gave everything and eerie glow: the silhouette of a horse on the field, the orange sky, and the trees in the distance. Suddenly the horse raised his head high; his ears pricked forward, eyes wide. It let out a frightened whinny and ran full tilt to the other side of the pasture, jumped over the fence and ran away. They say the horse never stopped running, constantly haunted by something, always on its tail. People boast they’ve seen the legendary horse, fast as the wind, eyes wide and wild, running to nowhere from nothing. But if you were there when the horse first bolted I think you’d agree with me; that the horse is truly running from something. For near the fence where the horse was standing if you were there you’d hear a grumbling clicking and other strange sounds of a creature that’d just lost its lunch.
