ummm…please let me get into the top choir this year…and that i’ll star in the school play…and lots more money would be nice…that i’ll find time to sleep and practice violin like i’m supposed to…that i’ll finish reading a book in the old testament every day so i can get a candy bar every day from ms. mcmurdie…please let me grow…gosh i need it so bad…and that dad won’t lose his job…and that everyone in high school will like me…and that i’ll get straight a’s without studying, preferably…hmmmm. what more do i want?
