A Very Long Journey

It took two days for my ship to get prepared, then me and Tymmo set off at my ship’s highest possible speed, 2000 times the speed of light, and began the month-long journey to the site.
On the way, I asked Tymmo some vital questions about the project.
“I know I have one of the fastest possible ships, but how can we beat the salvage companies? It takes at least two months for information like that to be released publicly.”
Tymmo smiled, “We’ll beat them because it’s information that has not, technically, been released publicly. It was only discovered three weeks ago.”
“Well, I hope this goes well, that information must’ve put you fairly deeply in debt to afford it.”
When he didn’t respond, I looked over at him and asked, “You did buy it legally, didn’t you?”
He turned away and didn’t speak to me for the rest of the trip there.
I wondered what kind of deal Tymmo had made to get the information and also what kind of mess I had gotten myself into.
A month is a long time to spend not talking to someone.
