The Ghost Horse
She had searched for it for so long, the ghost horse.
Now here it was right before her eyes, sitting there waiting. She was suddenly filled with gratitude for her cars dead battery, and for the fact that she decided to eat her sandwich in this field. She slowly walked toward to her car, and picked up her ghost hunting net. She hoped it was up to catching a huge ghost horse. She walked slowly and quietly toward the horse, suddenly she tripped over a pebble. “Shoot!” she whispered. She looked up and breathed a quiet sigh of relief, the ghost horse was still there.
She walked up, and WHOOSH ! hitched the net over the horse.
All these years of work and now she had him.
A niegh broke her joyful thinking.
“Wait a second” she thought, “Ghost horses don’t neigh”.She looked over at the net and wanted to cry.
She hadn’t caught a ghost horse but a regular horse!
She pulled the net gently off the horse and sat down next to it. “I guess the search is on again” she said and walked away.
