Rhyannon

There was a bright light, like someone shining an 800-watt flashlight in her eyes. She blinked and staggered as the light faded.
It was Queen Rhyannon. She smiled benevolently at Erynne, who gaped.
“Erynne, how good to see you,” she said softly.
“How…how did you get here?” she stuttered.
“The court scientist had a…useful experiment. It’s…basically, a portable portal. Unfortunately, it takes so much energy, I really can’t waste time.”
Erynne nodded.
“The Humans who nearly discovered us are two couples on a camping trip. Their names are Helen, Dimitri, Harmony, and Lyndon. They’re somewhere in Puck’s Forest. You have to stop them. Do anything you can to prevent an outbreak.”
“What about the safety rules?” Erynne asked hesitantly.
Rhyannon waved it away impatiently. “Rules are made to be broken. Except for the one about humans not discovering us. That’s for protecting us.”
Erynne nodded again.
“I hope you stand and deliver, Erynne. The Fey have dire need of you,” she said softly. Then she was gone.
