Sake of Arguement
AN: I was bored.
“That’s a stupid question.”
“But it’s valid,” Leah countered. “It’s one of those questions that no one can really answer. Kind of like bigfoot. No one can prove or disprove his existance because no one can be everywhere at the same time.”
The two exchanged a glance then looked back at the black sky that was littered with stars.
“You could say that about love, you know.”
Leah’s left eyebrow raised in confusion as she propped herself on her elbow. “Huh?”
“You can’t prove or disprove it.”
She scoffed. “That’s different. When it comes to things like that, you just know it.”
“Not neccessarily. People just assume certain things are done out of love.”
“Oh.” For a moment, Leah was quiet.
“Jason, do you love me?”
“You know I do. That little speech was just for sake of arguement.”
“Then prove it.”
He pulled himself up and surprisingly pressed his lips to hers.
“Okay,” she murmured, finally returning to her original position with a smile. “I think we both made our point.”
