Gracie
Sometimes the only way to make it is to hold your head up and take off running. Just Plow right through.
This was the case for Gracie Gordan. She lived a non-eventful life, with her cats, in a modest little appartment. Everyday she walked the same crouded street, to her boring little job .
Hello Gracie, Miss Hayes waved. How are you today? Fine she said. Gracie stepped into the street to cross. Brakes squealed Gracie Miss Hayes screamed. Wow that was close Gracie said placing her hand on her chest.
Honey come sit down.
Oh I can’t, if I’m late again, I’ll be fired.
She punched her time card with one minute to spare.
She took her seat in front of her sewing machine, and grabed her first piece.
Eight hours later quitting time, the boss comes out,
need you people to stay, we got a deadline.
Great II’ll be walking home alone in the dark.
The street was empty, quite, only one are two cars passed.
She grasp the front of her jacket, and walked fast toward home.
She heard a noise behind her.
