Excuse Me
“Here kitty, kitty, kitty.” I spoke through gritted teeth. John and I had been chasing that darned cat through the park all day. Seems as though we had finally caught her.
“Got’cha!” I shouted. The cat scrambled through my arms. My boyfriend, John came up to me and put his arms around my waist; then kissed me.
“Stop it!” I said playfully and giggled. He sighed. “Remember we have to save that cat.” I began to run toward it.
“Maria, we will never catch it.” John said half-laughing. I jumped on the ground where the small kitten should have been. I missed it while John came over and helped me up. I began to kiss him and we rolled around on the grass of the park. We stopped and I was still giggling. I looked up and there stood a strange man.
“Excuse me, is this your kitten?”
