Imps, you see, are famous for their science. They are very advanced in this, so advanced, in fact, that the crude humans called i magic, back in the day. Unfortunately, they got this way through trial and error-mostly error. One scientist, a long time back (this is when woolly mammoths were roaming the earth and Sid and Diego had not been thought of) was attempting, for the first time, a flower that never died. Of course, in typical imp fashion, he failed. But instead, he created a Portal, tied to the earth where the flower was from. After much experimentation, the scientist concluded that every time the earth died a little, so did the Imp world, Zoona. So imps attempted to save it…but it wasn’t their first priority—that was reserved for Queen’s Balls, the latest hairstyles (armpit hair was all the rage several years back), and getting married, called The Intertwining, or Shalalala in Imp. But now, many years later, the Zoona was close to extinction, and an emergency mission was prepared…
