As she drove she and her friends to the mall, the thought of James stayed glued to her mind. He was always on her mind, and once again tried to push the thought of him away. But as always she failed.

When they got to Pizza Hut, the three besties found their guyfriends were already there hanging out. The very second that she entered the door, Nicole felt his eyes rest upon her, and she shuddered.

Then everyone else started talking about this and that, and how it was such a coincidence that both the guys and the girls were going to eat pizza first then go meet up with the other. Everyone was talking as if everything was perfectly normal, that nothing was wrong, but it wasn’t.

All of a sudden, what Nicole prayed not to happened occurred. A voice three seats to her left began to speak…to her.
